Kaluga

In the 2020/21 season, Kaluga was named the New Year’s Capital of Russia. For us, this was a highly responsible project — to decorate the city in a way that would measure up to this honorable title and delight the residents. The concept was based on images from Soviet cosmonautics.

We designed structures for this project: a stylized photo zone with elements of the starry sky, a stunning lighted ceiling resembling the glow of stars, various art objects, and other festive items.

We also installed numerous consoles in the shape of the New Year’s Capital logo — a stylized cosmic satellite.
