To mark the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Megapolis took part in centralized decoration project in Saint Petersburg, commissioned by SPb GCU “GCRR”.
For the first time in the history of festive city decoration for the Victory Day and the ceremonial parade, unique “Photo Chronicles of Leningrad” were installed along Nevsky Prospect, near the Bronze Horseman, St. Isaac’s Square, and Alexander Garden, which displayed blockade-time photos of these landmarks. These special “windows into the past” allowed city dwellers to experience the spirit of the besieged city and compare wartime Leningrad with peaceful Petersburg of 2020. We take pride in the fact that our idea, from the design project development to production, was embodied on the streets of the northern capital.
